Clinical qualifications & education

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in North Carolina, with LMFT license number 2564. I hold clinical trauma certifications as I have completed EMDRIA-approved EMDR Basic Training I and II. I earned my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Appalachian State University.

I continued my education in a pre-doctoral medical marriage and family therapy position with ECU Health, where I collaborated with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists. I provided mental health care to inpatient rehabilitation patients, addressing significant traumas such as spinal cord injuries and traumatic brain injuries.
